I’m a die hard USA fan and I was rooting for them ’til the very end but if I could pick ANYONE to lose too, it was Japan. So greatful for all the support they’ve gotten after their disaster. They haven’t had much to cheer about, but now they do.

@SpykR13 “for two small defensive mistakes (Krieger on Japan’s first goal and Wambach deflecting the ball on Japan’s secong goal). ”

This reminds me of a famous boxing quote. . “I would have won that fight if he hadnt knocked me out!!”

@SpykR13 Those two small defensive mistakes were part of the game and were enough for Japan to equalize.

“I was HOPING to win but Japan showed up to the party. ”

@SpykR13 USA still lost. If USA truly “deserved” it, they would have won. Stop being a sore loser and accept Japan’s win.

. . . . ‘finding a way to win and I don’t care how that happens’. . . . after that comment I thought she meant running over the smaller japanese team but after watching the final it was not the case. Congrats Japan. . . never ever say ‘die’. Great final for both teams. . . . wonderful example of skilled football by the women.

@zaqura1001 Don’t give me that bullshit, the USA clearly outplayed Japan and they would have won it if it weren’t for two small defensive mistakes (Krieger on Japan’s first goal and Wambach deflecting the ball on Japan’s secong goal).
Congratulations to our WNT, they truly deserved the W yesterday and played a great World Cup.
