    Shut up

Because that would meant that LSU would be out of the title picture very early in the season. NO way he would risk that, he needs to worry about VTech and hope they don’t lose there USC will take care of themselves they will be in the BCS title game will LSU?

Probably because he remembers 2004 when Oregon St, a lesser Pac-10 team, took it to the Tigers. If not for OSU’s Alexis Serna missing 3 extra points, LSU would’ve been embarrased in their own house.

Imagine what USC would do to them, Miles obviously does. .

It is very clear by your comments that you do not understand how collegiate scheduling works. It isn’t “just a phone call away” and USC will not play anyone anywhere anytime. As proof of this I submit that USC will never sign an agreement to play LSU 10 years in a row at Tiger Stadium. For any such meeting to take place both teams would have to agree to a home and home. Neither team is likely to make this agreement anytime soon because of the BCS implications. This doesn’t imply cowardice on either side. It’s just smart business. If the two teams did decide to play it would be several years down the road when both teams will be completely different and either or both might totally suck. Not only that but the head coach doesn’t usually have a lot of input as far as scheduling is concerned.

And for what it’s worth USC and LSU have faced off twice before. They split 1 – 1. LSU’s record against the PAC 10 is a little more impressive: 12 wins and 3 losses. I’m not seeing anything here that would lead me to believe that the boys in the bayou are intimidated by the those folks out west.

All of that being said Coach Miles is coming off like an goofball with some of his comments.

I live in Louisiana, I’m a semi-LSU fan, but Miles is an idiot, I hope the rumors are true about him going to Michigan, I could coach with the talent at LSU and win 8-9 games a year.
