Tell the manager again, and again if necessary.

tell him to get out from infront of your door you pay to live there so you have the right to tell him to get away from your door. . . if this doesnt work maybe get the police involved but that depends how long this has been going on and what you have done to stop it

Is he on your property or common area? That’s probably primary to this situation.

If he has the right to be where he is, I think your only alternative would be to have a screaming fit, scare him away from “that crazy lady”. But, he might just give it back at you and rip you a new one. Is it really worth all that?

I once had a problem not dissimilar to yours. I was at the time working from my home office. Someone thought it would be cool to “get one up” on me. I started to receive phone calls. They would not say anything but it interrupted my day and my evenings and even in the middle of the night. They filled up my answering machine with long silences so that I could not get my business calls. I did not know what to do. I tried all the usual routine of ignoring hoping they would go away. they did not. I asked nicely. They did not respond. So one day the phone rang and I knew it was them because I picked it up to that familiar silence. Then I took a device called “The Screamer” It is a high pitched alarm used to scare of attackers. It is something women carry around with them. I had ear plugs in my ears and I put the screamer UP to the phone and let it blast. Then I got I on the phone and said “How did you like that one huh?” Then I put the screamer back on for them.

I NEVER GOT ANOTHER CALL AGAIN.

make a point of going to the door *so he sees you* and slam it. . .

oh is the door closed. oh. open it then slam it.

You place a boom-box, or radio, disc-player, etc. , with the speakers near the door. When he comes there, especially with the telephone, turn it full up. As far as choices of music: if he’s a rap type of guy, play classical (1812 Overture has cannon fire at the end), or if he is a classical type guy, rap is the choice. However, my all time favorite to drive someone away is Souza’s “Stars and Stripes Forever”. Or Ethel Merman signing, “There No Business Like Show Business”. . . . . that will shatter glass if at too loud a volume, however.

Have fun with it, a fan by your door/window, pointing outward works for the smoke.

Darn, does he live that close to you? Hmmm. . . put a sign on your door and say “NO DONKEY’S ALLOWED WITHIN 1 FOOT!”

How about this: When he comes over, go out to him while he’s talking on the phone and say “Can I help you?” really loudly with a smile. Keep saying it so loud that he can’t keep his conversation going. Or if he’s just standing around smoking, “Is there something you wanted? No? Okay, then would you mind leaving my door/property? The smoke really bothers me. Thanks. ” Whatever he replies, you can just tell him that if he needs to speak to you, that’s fine, but otherwise, he needs to stay on his own property to talk on the phone/smoke/whatever. I guarantee you, if you interrupt him every single time he tries to do these things, he will get ticked off enough to stay away! Good luck!
