@cattdaddy99 Check the statistics, there was steady improvement in controlling illegal immigration under Bush which has continued under the new administration. The increase if funding for border patrol, fences, etc. by the new administration shown results. And on the green card issue look to the right because it is the big corps the right panders to that the right panders to, that do the most hiring of legal immgrants, outsource, and ship legal immigrants here to work.

We need jobs that pay above poverty so that people can afford education, healthcare, retirement, etc and not wind up on the dole if something happens to where they can not work.

@bnjones28 Yes, I do. I tracked the stimilus funding on each state website very carefully. I also watched the same republicans reps that trashed it in Washington try to take credit for it and BRAG about how much good it did in their home districts. The stimilus was responsible for creating 512,000 jobs, over 1/2 million just in my state alone and they were not temporary either or government they were private industry jobs.

I am a small business owner in my 50’s and I also support President Obama and the democrats for the work they have done. I especially appreciate the dems reducing tax breaks for corps with foriegn accounts in order to give American business like mine more tax cuts as that will help us grow, expand, hire, and compete with corporations that have foreign ownership and backing
