  4. jmans25 says:

@thezionist7 but bulky to carry around and requires wifi if not 3g which will STILL use up all u r data.

  5. rgjmg070607 says:

@jmans25 i was just thinking the same thing b 4 i even read ur comment . . lol

  6. thezionist7 says:

Video calling on mobile is like a crap.
u can use ur laptop instead for high quality video communication. u can use ur mobile as a data modem. is that very same technology makes people insane. if u r ready to buy a mobile of that price tag why cant u go for laptop. video calling, very big hd screen and every thing u want

  7. jmans25 says:

and apple pretends to invent something:
“People have been dreaming about video calling for decades”.

  8. RandomDirectors says:

@yasir25119918 why the hell would i want to use a mobile phone if am in a place like work or home where i can just use my laptop and a webcam to have a video chat?

    Facetime is kind of useless.

  9. feixbix says:

    wow. . this is like facetime. . . just. . older . . . thats spucky

  10. yasir25119918 says:

    Voice = crap
    Video = crap
    ease of use = crap
Advantage over Facetime = 3g availability.

  11. jielyel says:

    cool. . nice

  12. benjiboy122 says:

@Ryguy1450 Yes but this is from like two years ago. Apple finally gets a camera in the front. Wow. . . you have to remember that its only Wifi Wifi=home :( Cellular Data=Anywhere :)

  13. ASM902 says:

why is it that in Asia , arabia states and European countries have video calling but the us does not. really why! are they really late in telecommute technology

  14. Ryguy1450 says:

@djlobb Apple’s implementation is superior to the crap 64 kb/s video you have using h. 263 video codec. (old codec) Nokia sucks and so do you. Apple has video chat using High Resolution, not two mini boxes on a screen with shit audio.

  15. turboparadise says:

@lavidalocaliving The video calling has been araound but if you noticed nobody in Asia uses it because it does not work as advertised.

  16. djlobb says:

lol what i don’t get is that, even in Australia (where we’ve had convenient video calling for years now) the news is treating the video calling feature on the iPhone as “new” and you can only use it on fucking wifi! I havn’t had any quality issues with Three’s video calling on my N73 FUCK YOU APPLE, and just as much the fucking sheepish media!!!

  17. thewebmogul says:

now you know the power of Windows phone. Iphone or android can’t even do this because they are stuck to there wifi connection LOL. . .

  18. ruudvanant says:

we’ve had video calls on Three mobile for years in the UK!

  19. HyperBreed says:

@lavidalocaliving – I know all too well what we’re missing! I’m in Seattle & I wanna see my nephew in Australia, but Steve Jobs is concerned with the American market & clearly, if you’ve ever experienced US cell phone companies – you know for sure that the average American consumer is a RETARD. This is why the iPhone can’t make video calls & it is driving me crazy! Grrrrrrr

  20. starfish258852 says:

    rly?

  21. XxKnoFacexX says:

@lavidalocaliving i have this and i’m in america xD

  22. DRthirdLEGGED says:

@lavidalocaliving now i know what im missing

  23. fidencioga says:

Video calling is available as of 12/01/09 via Fring on high end Nokia phones running latest symbian OS.

  24. benjiboy122 says:

Why is this wonderful technology is being censored in the USA
