For online Association, I also want to know if, as a commish, will you have to advance every day? Football, once a week, everyone plays, you advance. But NBA, games are everyday. Will I have to log on to my Xbox to advance a day where there’s 1 AI matchup on a Monday, for example.
I really hope to hear some news on this today. They mentioned there would be a dev insight on Online Assoc.
@anto1982 – You’re right. Just like last year. I just hope it applies to Online Association. That’s what I’m waiting to hear about. Will Online Assoc. be like NCAA’s online dynasty – where offline is exactly the same as online. Or will it be like Madden’s Online Franchise, which is basic and hasn’t changed in 3 years. I’m thinking NBA 2K will be closer to NCAA than Madden for online league.
@TheGameGuysBlog If I’m not mistaken I remember hearing if you beat any of the classic teams you unlock them in any game mode so it might be possible.
@anto1982 – No rookies is what sucks the most, to me. Especially for Online Association. I’m really excited about that, but I don’t want to start a 10-man Association with my buddies and have none of the rookies. I’m wondering if you can just make a custom Online Assoc. where I can have all the classic teams. If you can, I might go that route.
Only thing that sucks is the damn lockout which means no NBA Today and no rookies. It’s a shame cause it looks like they did another amazing job this year.
@MrROD752 – What is CPU cheating? When the AI would have their back turned on a fast break, but be able to stick their arm out to deflect an outlet pass. That drove me nuts last year.
