The Palm OS phones ie Treo 650 / 755p also have that conference call problem. It doesn’t let me switch back and forth or drop people from conference calls. Which is a serious flaw for a phone in my opinion. Though I’m still going to bear with it and pick up the Pre anyway despite that flaw as it’s posities outweigh that negative. Though without people wiriting to palm to complain I doubt they’ll be changing that.
xgambetx is correct you can text while on a call as that uses the phone line but e-mail uses data and Sprint doesn’t support simultaneous data and voice.
can you send a text message while on a call with some one. Lets say have them either on speaker phone or bluetooth headset while texting or e-mailing someone else?
Hmmm I will have to try that later. I am still learning things and figuring them out as I use this and make these videros. I may do a “small features video” #2 just to ammend things I have found since I made these.
I don’t think you got any glitch on the app. According to what I saw on your other videos, you could probably try to drag the second call sideways to remove just that one.
Thanks for making the vid, but you should get to the point more quickly and not point out things that are irrelevant
How would you end just one call while talking to two people at once??? It always ends all calls for some reason????
whats the point of ending one of the lines in conference call when the call ends as on of the person hangs up
it’s not a PalmOS problem–it’s a limitation of CDMA. You’d see this on any Sprint or Verizon phone.
If the second call is incoming, you can swap but not merge. If the second call is outgoing, you can merge but not swap.

Ahhh good sir I have to disagree with you
Palm Pre = win. Macbook = fail

And thanks for all these sweet vids.
how do I download this to my PC?
Yes, it dials voicemail. If you were hoping for visual voicemail Palm has confirmed Pre will NOT have this. . . at least not at launch. Bummer

AFAIK yes, it’s available for Mac, Win and Linux. . .
is this available for PCs as well?
What happens when you click the voicemail icon? Does it dial voicemail?
Great videos!
