After the Bush tax cuts took effect, the US Treasury collected MORE revenue than any time in US history. Low tax rates lead to more productive uses of money, less spent on accountants and lawyers, hence higher income, more jobs, more taxes paid. In the same period, the top 5% of taxpayers paid a HIGHER SHARE of taxes than before the cuts. THAT’s why Republicans oppose more taxes. Dems would too, if they really wanted to bring in more revenues. They’d rather punish success.
During Bush’s 8 years in office, including the 9/11 attacks AND the housing bubble/financial meltdown which happened in 2007-08, we added $4. 35 trillion to the debt. Most of that was added in 2007 & 2008 when Dems controlled the House. In Obama’s first 29 months in office, we have added $4. 5 trillion.
The Dems STILL have the audacity to claim this debt crisis is Bush’s fault. Obama wants our kids to pay for HIS glorious term AFTER he’s voted out.
NO MORE DEBT WITHOUT OBAMACARE REPEAL!

@dkkght46 fortunately, i have teeth that are sensitive to sugar, if i drink a non-diet coke/soft drink, i will get a toothache. i haven’t had any sugary things in well over a decade. if i can’t have a few beers, i’ll walk away from any women
While not a Tea Party member I have met many who are and they are not terrorist like Chuck would like us to believe but they are worst. Those silver haired ladies look just like the ladies at my church. You think they’re harmless? Think again. They’ll fill you up with cake and pies and cookies and ice cream, then when you’re too full to move they’ll talk your ear off.
