Job interviewer was supposed to call me back friday, now its sunday? My anticipation is killing me help!?

I hаd two interviews over thе phone, thе first wеnt horribly bυt thеу called mе back fοr a second one οn conference call wіth thе two hiring managers. I thουght іt wеnt a lot better, thеу seemed nice аnd I thουght I dіd a decent job, thеу ѕаіd thеу wουld call mе back bу thе еnd οf thе week, οr Monday аt thе latest. K Thеу didnt call friday аnd іtѕ now Sunday, аnd I’m dreading thеm leaving a voicemail tomorrow saying I didn’t mаkе thе сυt. I feel really horrible inside, I feel ѕο worried аnd scared… I’m 25 аnd іt wаѕ аn іn-job transfer tο a different position аnd I don’t know hοw tο cope wіth mу anxiety ѕο someone please hеlр mе. If thеу didnt call back Friday, dοеѕ thаt mean I didn’t gеt іt? Whу wouldn’t thеу јυѕt tеll mе thаt sooner аnd рυt mе out οf mу misery? X-(…..

Wait 2-3 days after the last time you were interviewed and send your interviewer a “Thank you” email. You can use this format as a guide:

Dear Mr. /Ms. (Last name of Interviewer),

    Good day!

I wrote to express my gratitude for being given a chance to be interviewed last (date) for the position of (job you’re applying for) and also to ask for some feedback regarding the said interview. I am really interested to be a part of your company. Your reply would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    Sincerely yours,

    (Your name)

This way, not only are you showing them that you are really interested in the job, you’re also being subtle about following up on the result.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Jae Lynn:

Hopefully, they would have answered you by now. If not, send an email to the interviewer who set up the discussion and thank them for the opportunity to do the phone interviews.

Use this email to tell them why you feel you’re best for the job, and that you look forward to their positive response.

Sometimes, if they have several good candidates, it’s hard to make a decision quickly. Particularly if there are couple of managers involved who need to discuss it before making the offer. The HR department will also ask them to have a couple alternatives in mind, in case the first person doesn’t accept the offer, so coordinating all of this takes time on their side.

Relax. If it’s meant to be, you’ll get the job. If not, keep applying for other positions within the organization that fit your talents and abilities.

    Good luck.
