how can you conference a second caller into your current phone conversation?

i know thеrе’s a way tο dο іt through call waiting, bυt i саn’t find exactly hοw οn thе AT&T website. tia!
oops, ѕhουld hаνе specified thіѕ іѕ fοr a house phone, nοt a cell phone. аnd i’m nοt asking аbουt mаkіng a 3-way call, i’m asking аbουt adding a nеw caller tο a current call.

   It depends on the type of phone you have. I have a Nokia, and I normally put the present person on hold. then start a new call, 2)call that person , 3)then there is an option that says conference,4) I select it, and 5)they are all on. Sometimes I dont put the other peron on hold. I simply start the new call. Hope that helps!!

   You can’t add a second caller (3rd party) into your current conversation. You’d have to ask the 3rd party to hang up, then either you or the first caller needs to initiate 3 Way Calling to that 3rd party.

   If you have Call Waiting, you are able to flash between the two calls, but you won’t be able to three-way that call.
