Are conference calls considered long distance…?

I know іtѕ a free conference call bυt i don’t hаνе long distance set up οn mу phone.thе call іn # bеgіnѕ wіth 212 аnd mу area code іѕ οf course different.I јυѕt thουght/hope іt іѕ still free bесаυѕе іt іѕ a multi people call іn thing.

   If the number you dial to access the conference call is long distance to you, then it is a long distance call. How many people also dial that same conference number doesn’t matter and doesn’t make it any less long distance for you.

   You could always ask the conference organizer if there’s a local number for your, or if there’s a toll-free number you can use. A number of conference call centres do have toll-free numbers but not all (costs more too).
