I had an amazing thought. we split the country up between liberals and conservatives, and meanwhile, while the liberals live in peace, the conservatives destroy themselves in fear of what might happen!
I wonder what would of happened if we Democrats had said this about Bush?

@AngeCord Are you saying I have a commentary? What’s funny is both side have a commentary but neither admit to it. I am understanding enough to see how both sides have things wrong. The truth of the matter is whether you agree with me or not, insulting the other side is only going to continue the debate instead of finding the solution. I’m just saying that instead of making the “other guys” seem stupid, just saying what you believe works is x or y and not w or z. Is that so hard?

@phildirt3 It may appear to you that what you said is their agenda. But as a conservative i have to correct you. The “right” doesn’t want religion taught in school, they want the freedom to practice it. They want limited spending, which will reduce how much we spend on social programs. No one wants to go to war, they feel forced. Sending jobs overseas is the result of higher labor laws in USA. GWarming is a scam, and unions do more bad than good to the people.

Those who have power, in America right now, are abusing it. So if they have power and are abusing it, why would they give it up without being forced to? And the answer is, they won’t. Not unless you threaten them with imminent physical violence. Now maybe you think I’m being extreme with that statement, but the logic is sound. They won’t give it up unless someone takes them out of the power they are in right now. There’s no getting around it, at this point, violence is warranted, unfortunately.

You are correct, and the schools could be run more efficiently at the state and local level. Look at how much we spend relative to how we rank. It’s pathetic.
The bottom line is anything the gvmt subsidizes becomes more expensive and less efficient.
Gvmt is a necessary force, but it must fear the people and not the other way around.
